Any support for tiger conservation to WWF India will be used to strengthen our ongoing work in and around key tiger reserves and protected areas with tiger populations*. This includes:

  Conserving critical forest corridors through research, advocacy, monitoring and field interventions
  Supporting the Forest Department to strengthen tiger protection
  Working with local communities to develop sustainable alternative livelihoods and reduce biotic pressures on tiger habitat
  Reducing human-tiger conflicts - Controlling the illegal trade in tiger parts and other wildlife
  Building awareness on tiger conservation among all sections of society
